Investment company KPS Capital Partners has acquired Life Fitness family of brands
Unterschleissheim. The sale of Brunswick Corporation's fitness division to investment company KPS Capital Partners has been completed. This completes the acquisition of the world's leading premium fitness equipment manufacturer Life Fitness and its brands Hammer Strength, Cybex, Indoor Cycling Group and SCIFIT for a price of approximately $490 million.
Going forward, Brunswick will focus on its marine and watersports equipment business to sharpen its maritime performance profile and expand its position in this industry. Brunswick made global sales of more than $4 billion in this sector alone last year.
