The amino acid gel AMSPORT Energy Competition Gel is now available in a cola flavor. The special feature: It contains 32 mg of caffeine per sachet. Caffeine is also very popular in sport, with athletes reporting shorter reaction times and reduced signs of fatigue.
In addition, the AMSPORT gel has an unusual mixture with twelve percent amino acids in the carbohydrate ratio. This composition is particularly suitable during exercise, as hypoglycaemia is buffered after the energy peak. The Competition Gel also contains the necessary amount of sodium to protect against muscle cramps. The gel is well tolerated as it is free from lactose, gluten and fructose. The gel, which was developed by Mark Warnecke, is now available from well-stocked sports retailers.
