Now the entire gym is getting smart: with EGYM Genius, the latest AI-based software innovation from EGYM, the global market leader for holistic, intelligent training solutions. EGYM Genius creates fully automated, personalized training plans that are precisely adapted to the respective gym and all of its equipment, including free weights. Trainers and members benefit from the insights gained from seven billion EGYM training data.
EGYM Genius is the new driver of the entire EGYM ecosystem, seamlessly connecting its components: Measuring devices (including Fitness Hub and body analysis devices), training plans, workouts of all kinds (including classes, free exercises or workouts recorded with apps and wearables outside the studio) as well as motivation and community tools (Gameday, Member App with BioAge etc.).
EGYM Genius draws on data from all analyses and training sessions ever carried out on EGYM and partner equipment - including 340 million assessment data (fitness tests and measurements) - and uses this to generate precise recommendations for individualized and motivating training plans, optimally tailored to the personal experience levels and training goals of each member. The AI takes into account the equipment actually available in the gym (operators simply enter their equipment into the EGYM Business Suite online) and allows certain categories to be excluded (e.g. "no free weights").
Another new feature is that EGYM Genius collects weight profiles and data from partner equipment in the background. This starts with strength equipment from Life Fitness, Matrix, Core Health & Fitness and gym80. The AI calculates recommendations for the optimal setup for each participating machine: The Body Scan on the EGYM Fitness Hub is used for precise device settings, and the training weights are determined based on the strength tests on the EGYM Smart Strength devices. This feature is gradually being extended to other partners in the EGYM ecosystem. In the same way, EGYM Genius also defines the optimal training weights for mechanical equipment, cable pulleys and free weights, thus bridging the gap between digital and analog. A huge added value for fitness studios compared to the previous isolated solutions!
EGYM Genius for trainers: Become a hero with AI support
The member selects their training goal together with the trainer. After onboarding at the Fitness Hub (incl. body scan) and strength tests on the EGYM Strength equipment, the trainer immediately sees the training plan proposal automatically created by EGYM Genius in their trainer app. He makes any final adjustments and forwards the plan directly to his member's member app. There it appears in the "From my trainer" section. The result: a professional training plan that is more precise and more inspiring than ever before with its wide range of exercise suggestions. It takes into account all previously recorded information and data, is precisely adapted to the equipment of the respective studio and turns the trainers into heroes! All with just one click and massive time savings per training plan.
EGYM Genius for members: the perfect workout for every day
The easy-to-understand evaluations in the member app, based on the latest automated fitness tests and weekly progress in the training plan, document training progress in strength, flexibility, cardio and metabolism. EGYM Genius uses this information to create the perfect workout for every day - in and out of the gym - depending on the member's individual training goals and performance. The highlight: each completed, tracked workout personalizes the next workout even better. The basis for this is the rapidly growing availability of data through EGYM's open ecosystem with currently over 200 connected partner brands: More data from more sources in turn continuously increases the quality of the self-learning AI.

EGYM Genius opens up many new opportunities for operators and trainers to provide their members with even better support: from improving the quality of onboarding to increasing employee efficiency and promoting upselling to higher-value memberships. Members benefit from a completely new workout experience, as they can seamlessly switch between EGYM and their other fitness activities while continuing to use many of the smart features EGYM offers them.
