Blackpool Town Council runs three sports centers. The aim here is to offer as many people as possible the fun of exercise and motivate them to lead an active lifestyle. In search of a new offering for its members, the council came across EGYM a few years ago and equipped Blackpool Sports Centre with smart equipment and the ecosystem in 2019. Since then, the results have been so compelling that EGYM has already been rolled out to two other locations by the end of 2022.

"We have now had the opportunity to invest in new equipment at our two other locations. The interest from customers and trainers made the decision to go with EGYM very easy. This is because we've seen how quickly membership numbers at Blackpool Sports Centre have recovered post-pandemic thanks to EGYM (to over 100% of previous levels), whereas at the other studios without EGYM we were struggling with levels of around 80%."
