The ATX® Hyper Extension is an effective training device that can be used in competitive sports as well as in prevention and rehabilitation.
Due to its design and the associated exercise execution, the lower back and gluteus muscles are ideally exposed to both concentric and eccentric loads.
The exercise gently stretches and decompresses the lower part of the spine, which relieves pressure on the intervertebral discs. In addition to strengthening muscles and ligaments and increasing blood flow to the muscles,
an increased supply of spinal fluid is also stimulated.
