All under one DACH!
The occupational therapy associations of the three countries Germany, Austria and Switzerland are all under one roof this year for World Occupational Therapy Day, or rather under one DACH. DACH is the abbreviation for the above-mentioned countries (D = Germany, A = Austria and CH = Switzerland), which are planning a joint appearance for World Occupational Therapy Day 2019. The aim is to encourage people to look beyond their national borders to their small or large neighbors, especially around the day of our profession - i.e. around October 27. Perhaps we will discover certain similarities and/or differences that we can benefit from?
The postcard and poster have the slogan "Occupational therapy!-So that life stays in your hands." It expresses the fact that occupational therapists support people in determining their own lives, being able to act and participating in life.
How and where do you experience this in your "everyday occupational therapy"? Take a photo of it and send it to us. Please observe data protection by obtaining the consent of the person(s) pictured and we will post all photos on our Facebook page and also collect them on the World Occupational Therapy Day page. In this way, we present a diverse picture of occupational therapy. Simply send your picture(s) by e-mail to: info@dve.info.
Start today so that we already have a whole selection by October 27 and can enjoy how diverse and enriching our profession is on this day - throughout DACH.
