What is VersaClimber?

VersaClimber was developed over 40 years ago by the first company to integrate heart rate monitoring into fitness equipment. VersaClimber is widely regarded as the world's leading cardio and strength equipment.

Climbing burns more calories than any other activity

"The VersaClimber burns more calories than anything else out there," says Jason Walsh, C.S.C.S., a trainer who teaches cardio classes throughout the U.S., called Rise Nation, using only the VersaClimber. "I would estimate between 600 and 800 calories for a 30-minute session."

Contralateral movement pattern

The VersaClimber creates a contralateral movement pattern. This is the primal, instinctive movement pattern we use from crawling as a baby to walking and running. This cross-crawl movement has many physiological and neurological benefits. It strengthens the paraspinal muscles.

Climbing uses more muscle groups than any other activity

Arms / Shoulders / Back / Core / Hips / Thighs / Calves.

VersaClimber is very gentle on hips, knees and ankles

Using a VersaClimber is a seamless movement. The user's feet do not land on or push off of a surface - meaning there is little to no stress on the joints. This makes VersaClimber the perfect choice for people who want to maintain and develop their fitness without aggravating old injuries or preventing new ones.

Increase resistance to build muscle mass

VersaClimber gives you a high-intensity, full-body cardio workout, but when you increase the resistance (up to 227 kg equivalent force), it becomes a world-class, full-body strength machine. The use of resistance develops endurance. Applying a small amount of resistance while climbing slows the rate of ascent, allowing the user to focus on biomechanically perfect form for optimal results.

VersaClimber Studios

VersaClimber studios are popular in the U.S. and growing in popularity in Europe. Classes last about 30 minutes in a "nightclub" setting with special lighting and pulsating music. Under the guidance of an instructor, participants perform a variety of climbing techniques during the class to achieve the best possible cardio workout. The group size of participants varies between studios, but a common feature is that exercisers are happy to recommend this workout to their friends. Nothing compares to a VersaClimber studio group workout.

What is VersaPulley?

VersaPulley is a flywheel exercise machine that provides iso-inertial and eccentric overload training. VersaPulley creates an eccentric force - the harder you pull the rope away from the machine, the harder the machine pulls it back. This type of "acceleration and deceleration" exercise has been shown to improve the strength and conditioning of athletes in almost all sports disciplines. It improves jump height, change of direction and resistance to injury.

The VersaPulley is an extremely versatile piece of equipment:

Train at different heights and ranges / Easily change handles for a variety of exercises / Choose from 8 different load settings. Adjust the speed of the exercise - the machine uses a cone instead of a wheel, which works like the gears on a bicycle.

Experience a smooth transition between the concentric and eccentric components of the exercise (due to the cone design).

Floor Mounted VersaPulley

The floor-mounted VersaPulley is unparalleled in its versatility. Perform any exercise in any plane, at any load, and at any speed. Adjustable mast allows downward exercises in the vertical plane. Anchor points on the deck allow upward exercises in the vertical plane.

Monitor your performance with the Inertial Power Units (IPU) display - also compatible with SmartCoach to measure and understand time and power.

Portable VersaPulley

The portable VersaPulley is lightweight (approximately 27 kg) and can be used indoors or outdoors. Strong Velcro straps allow it to be attached to any secure structure, such as a goal post or tennis net post. Ideal for athletes who train year-round in a variety of environments. Take your workout with you wherever you go!

Wall Mounted VersaPulley

The wall-mounted VersaPulley includes a pole that attaches to a wall - the pole has seven points where the pulley can be anchored. Exercise at a variety of heights and in any plane (including vertical with the optional VersaPulley Squat Deck).
