On May 15, 2018, Technogym published its first quarterly figures. In all relevant target markets, the company once again achieved significant growth compared to the previous year.
Nerio Alessandri (Technogym founder and president) has every reason to be pleased. In the first quarter of 2018, the Italian company, headquartered in Cesana, continues to be on track for success (sales up 6 percent) and can report significant growth in all key target markets. In the first quarter, Technogym recorded the highest growth in Asia (+ 23.3 percent), closely followed by North America (+ 18.7 percent), Italy (+ 15.2 percent) and the rest of Europe (+ 7.3 percent).
According to Alessandri, this success is due in no small part to the new SKILL LINE product line and the digital enhancements and innovations (mywellness cloud, SKILL RUN, GymKit for Apple Watch, etc.). The equipment manufacturer wants to become even more active in this area in the future and significantly expand digital features in the (further) development of Technogym 4.0. Here, the training equipment, services, content and programs are to be even better networked in the future in order to offer customers the best possible "connected experience" of Wellness, fitness and health.
In addition to these innovations, Alessandri sees strong partners and good networking with premium providers, studio and club operators, and the hospitality, health, and wellness sectors as a key factor in its steadily growing success.
