RSG Group has opened the world's first Fitness Concept fitness club called HEIMAT in the Hollywood Media District in Los Angeles. HEIMAT invites you to be active, work out or simply relax and feel at home in a stylish environment.
HEIMAT places great focus on creating a community of like-minded people and building a social element into every contact with members.
All memberships include a wide range of fitness classes, such as Cycling, Running, Bootcamp, Barre, Boxing, Dance Cardio, Kinesis, TRX, Yoga and Reformer Pilates, taught by world-class instructors.
To round out the fitness offerings, HEIMAT has been equipped with custom strength and circuit training equipment from gym80. For cardio training, Technogym has provided treadmills, elliptical trainers and rowing machines, among other equipment.
After a workout, members can expect the signature restaurant Mother Tongue, a rooftop terrace with pool, a Jacuzzi, cabanas and an outdoor bar with panoramic views of the Hollywood Hills. A boutique spa pampers with a wide range of treatments, while the club's top floor offers coworking and event space. A Juice Bar and valet parking services are also among the offerings.
High-quality design and industrial character
Covering nearly 7,000 square feet, HEIMAT transformed a 1930s industrial property into a building using marble, wood and specially forged metals, among other materials. Concrete elements and a specially designed lighting concept provide a balance between high-quality design and industrial character.
Murals were created by artists Abel Macias, Jessalyn Brooks and Sophie Dherbecourt, evoking LA's vibrant cultural topography.
Culinary highlight
Together with Rainer Schaller and HEIMAT Los Angeles, Michelin-starred chef Michael Mina has created a culinary venue: Mother Tongue is aimed at those who celebrate global cuisine with fresh and natural ingredients.
While HEIMAT is exclusive to its members, the restaurant is open to everyone for dinner - and soon breakfast and lunch.
