The women’s handball national division team Bayer Leverkusen uses CxWorx to improve throwing power and coordination abilities
The women’s handball national division team Bayer Leverkusen used the core training of Les Mills CxWorx to prepare for the upcoming 2015/16 season. CxWorx increases the players’ throwing power and trains their coordination. They were in anticipation of the first home match and played full of energy. During the preparation for the season, the “Elfen” had been training regularly in the GoFit gym in Leverkusen to do the Les Mills CxWorx core training. Highly motivated, the 16 young women had been working to strengthen their torso musculature.
Les Mills CxWorx stands out by its effectivity and is a perfect addition to classic handball training methods. The 30-minutes workout doesn’t only improve endurance and strength, but as well flexibility, coordination and speed: “During the preparation period it is fundamental to offer an effective and manifold training program to our players” says handball chief trainer Renate Wolf. “Les Mills CxWorx is especially suitable for professional athletes. It increases coordination and therefore leads to improved throwing abilities.”
