Life Fitness, the global leader in fitness equipment, is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Stoneham as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.
Paul Stoneham is an experienced CEO with a remarkable track record of building strong consumer brands, high-performing organizations and companies that achieve industry-leading growth through brand investment, product design and innovation.
In the past, Stoneham has led three world-renowned companies to successful exits through market-leading growth in a variety of industries: most recently Helly Hansen AS, a technical outerwear company, for six years; prior to that, GHD Group Holdings known for its professional hair care business; and before that, Boots Healthcare International in the healthcare sector. Stoneham began his career in the consumer products industry at Procter & Gamble. As president there, he was responsible for global business development at Colgate-Palmolive in the Global Categories division. He earned an MBA from Harvard University and a BA in sociology from the University of Western Ontario - Canada.
