On September 16, PRIME TIME fitness opened its 14th fitness club in total. The newly opened gym in Ostermundingen near Bern is the first in Switzerland.
The 11 clubs of PRIME TIME fitness in Frankfurt and Munich are operated by the Frankfurt headquarters itself. The two Hamburg fitness studios are run by Nils Kuprat as a franchisee.
For the first club in Switzerland Dominic Meier could be won as franchisee. Dominic Meier is a former one-hockey professional and national player. He studied business administration at the University of St. Gallen and has already worked as managing director for a large Swiss fitness chain.
The club in Ostermundigen is also characterized by the typical attributes of PRIME TIME fitness. Here, too, the core target group is the "urban performer" - people who are highly committed professionally or socially, have little time, but want to do something specifically for their health.
That is why the newest club, located directly in the center of Ostermundigen, is also a place of short distances. The location is the penthouse floor of a brand new building directly at the Ostermundigen train station. The light-flooded, more than 1,400 m2 facility offers a panoramic view of the Bernese Alps and the surrounding countryside.
High-quality equipment
High-quality training equipment from established manufacturers was chosen for the equipment. The selection in the cardio area includes Stairmaster stair climbers, Octane and Cyber Arc crosstrainers. Woodway treadmills, LifeCycles and Wattbikes round out the cardio offerings.
The strength area includes a milon circuit with 10 stations and more than 100 pieces of equipment from Cybex, Hammer Strength and Life Fitness, as well as plate-loaded equipment from gym80 and exercise equipment from Hoist.
In the free weight area, a combination of Eleiko equipment and Hammer Strength is available to members. The equipment portfolio is supplemented by pneumatic equipment from Keiser, especially for sport-specific training. At the heart of the coordination training are two Sensopro machines, which are now installed as standard several times in all PRIME TIME fitness.
An InBody 970 and a Bodygee generate the basic data for training target determination. Throughout the club, the individual training load is optimized with a Myzone pulse rate system.
Since a Gantner fingerprint check-in and locker system is used, a classic reception desk could be dispensed with. I.e. the club and in particular the members are cared for from 6.00 in the morning to 22.00 in the evening exclusively by certified trainers.
PRIME TIME is typical also the selling. The company works with fitness consultants who focus exclusively on sales.
After the successful launch in Switzerland, further PRIME TIME fitness clubs can be expected, both as branches and through franchises.
