Nautilus buys Octane

The American fitness equipment manufacturer bought Octane Fitness for about 115 million US Dollars

According to Nautilus, they plan to reach new markets and sales channels and enter a higher price level. To date, they have been generating two parts of their proceeds by selling their own products. By the acquisition of Octane, they are now also attractive for the professional gym sector. Furthermore the brand is been distributed mainly in specialized trade.

Octane was founded in 2001 and has its origins in Minnesota, USA. The central products are gym machines for a gentle workout. Octane expects a turnover of about 65 million Euro for 2015.
