Motor Presse Stuttgart is significantly expanding its activities in the field of health and acquiring one of the leading providers in the field of nutrition coaching, the Hamburg-based company Upfit. Founded in 2016, the award-winning digital company uses a data-based, multidisciplinary approach to create individualized nutrition plans that take into account not only the latest ecotrophological findings but also personal preferences, intolerances or physiological factors. Unlike common diets, for example, the plans devised in this way help users to make lasting positive changes to their dietary behavior in a simple way and really achieve their individual goals - whether clean eating, losing weight or building muscle.
On July 1, 2022, the success story will be continued in Upfit GmbH & Co. KG. In addition to the majority shareholders of Motor Presse, the two founders Tim Kahle and Stanislaw Schmidt will also have a stake in the company. They will also assume operational responsibility and will manage the Strategy and Business Development and Technology and Operations divisions, respectively. Upfit GmbH & Co. KG will be managed by Dr. Andreas Geiger and Wolfgang Melcher, both of whom already jointly manage Motor Presse Hamburg GmbH & Co. KG.
