According to a press release, Life Fitness presented a modular system at this year's FIBO, with which every studio can incorporate the Small Group Training (SGT) trend into its offering. The modules consist of combinations of strength and endurance equipment and accessories that can be used to create group training rooms for intensive and varied sessions. The specific design and room layout can be flexibly adapted to all space conditions and requirements on site. The combination of modules means that a single trainer can instruct several participants of different abilities at the same time. "When done correctly, small group training can be a training method that engages exercisers and motivates them to achieve their goals over the long term," says Greg Highsmith, Vice President of Strength and Endurance Training at Life Fitness. "We help studio operators to create the right rooms and spaces for this. No matter what the infrastructure at the location looks like." One of the new modular elements presented at FIBO was the SYNRGY180 functional training system, a space-saving and extensively equipped workout wall. Depending on the desired size and training focus, it can be equipped with a variety of training options - from fitness bands and pivot bars to cable pulls, wall bars and more.
