In mid-January, Life Fitness President Jason Worthy and Alfred Enzensberger, founder and managing director of Clever Fit, met at the headquarters of Life Fitness Europe GmbH in Unterschleissheim to discuss the future strategic direction of Clever Fit's international expansion.
Clever Fit has been working with Life Fitness since 2006. The company relies on equipment from the Life Fitness, Hammer Strength and ICG brands. "We are a premium fitness discounter and want to offer our customers only the best equipment and gear for their workouts. That's why Life Fitness is such a good fit for us," said Alfred Enzensberger. "Partnering with Germany's most local fitness chain is an honor for us," said Jason Worthy. "Clever Fit has not only been awarded Franchise System of the Year by the German Franchise Association, but will continue to expand rapidly internationally in the coming years. Jason Worthy visited Life Fitness' European locations in the United Kingdom, Spain, Germany and the Netherlands in mid-January. At the new headquarters in Unterschleissheim, he met with the Clever Fit top management team led by Alfred Enzensberger, Markus Bulka, head of expansion, and Riccardo Christ, head of the fitness chain's system headquarters based in Landsberg am Lech.
