Klaus Dittrich, Chairman and CEO of Messe München, is pleased with the high level of popularity for ISPO and also with the range of products on display: "The variety of innovations and new products shown at ISPO MUNICH has further strengthened the industry's confidence in mastering the current challenges posed by climate and structural change."

The more than 80,000 trade visitors over the four days of the trade fair were joined by numerous celebrities from the worlds of sport and politics. For example, captain Philipp Lahm and coach Pep Guardiola from FC Bayern Munich came to Messe München, as did Federal Minister Dr. Gerd Müller, speed skater Claudia Pechstein and former weightlifter Matthias Steiner.
