The dynamic new HIIT training BLAZE from David Lloyd Clubs combines endurance, strength and martial arts elements. Following its great success in England, the training is now also taking off at David Lloyd Bad Homburg.
What is BLAZE?
At BLAZE, course participants can expect high-intensity interval training (HIIT), which is characterized by alternating phases of exertion and recovery. To make success more visible, each participant is equipped with a MyZone heart rate belt, which is used to measure individual progress. The individual heart rate monitor displays the participants' heart rate values on a screen in the studio and the activities are divided into the "gray", "blue", "yellow", "green" and "red" zones, with the most calories being burned in the red zone.
In the BLAZE studio, participants benefit from equipment that is suitable for both beginners and experienced athletes. During the BLAZE workout, experienced fitness instructors are on hand to motivate participants and make sure they are performing the exercises correctly. These exercises are performed at different stations, between which the participants can switch and determine their own level of difficulty: Woodway treadmills for the cardio unit, punching bags for martial arts and dumbbells of various weights for the strength exercises are available for this purpose.

Accompanied by pulsating beats and colorful lighting effects, participants can push themselves to their limits in 45-55 minutes. With an average calorie consumption of 500-1000 calories, BLAZE is a highly effective fat killer and ideal for a varied and challenging workout!
