The organizer Reed Exhibitions Deutschland and Kölnmesse Ausstellungen have agreed that FIBO will continue to take place in Cologne. They have prematurely extended the current contract by ten years until 2032, according to a statement. Since its move to the Rhine, FIBO has developed into one of the fastest-growing leading international trade fairs and has almost doubled in terms of exhibition space, exhibitor and visitor numbers . In the coming years, FIBO intends to further expand the thematic range at the Cologne venue. In 2020, for example, there will already be a number of innovations in the halls and further thematic focuses, such as "Health, Training and Wellness" or "Innovations, Start-ups and Future Topics". FIBO CEO Silke Frank "The aim is to position FIBO in such a way that it will continue to be the world's most important industry meeting place in the future because it actively promotes current market developments and gives the fast-growing segments the space they need". In 2020, the trade show will take place from April 2 to 5.
