Management: top topic for all industry segments

On all days of the event, there will be management presentations that, detached from the pandemic context, will focus on the development and maintenance of business strategies. Topics covered will include online marketing activities for effective member acquisition and retention, skills for successful employee management, challenges posed by competitors in the boutique sector, and the potential of digital membership sales. In addition, the focus will be on service topics.

Future markets: beyond the hype

The rest of the program offers a mix of training and nutrition topics, physiotherapy, corporate health management (BGM) and information on setting up a business. BGM specialists will address, among other things, the prevention of musculoskeletal disorders and risk factors for psychosocial health in the workplace context.

The Health strand, with its focus on nutrition, will deal with commercial perspectives on nutrition in the fitness market, while the Training strand will look at the latest findings on effective endurance, athletic and strength training. The range of presentations in the health section will be supplemented by mental and coaching topics.

The EMS section will focus on possible applications, modes of action and business potential. In addition to practical knowledge and new studies, participants can look forward to tips and tools for a successful EMS offering, as well as a pointed overview of quality criteria and personal skills.

Specific practical knowledge to deepen

A separate topic is dedicated to the challenges faced by start-ups. Here, experts will present promising strategies and financing concepts and highlight the importance of location selection, risk hedging and gym takeovers in a pragmatic and goal-oriented manner.

Participants in the Sun, Beauty & Care lectures can expect best practices and practical guidelines, e.g. for customer journey management. Speakers will also analyze how brand experiences, advice and hygiene score as positioning features.
