On the weekend, the gates will also open for private visitors, who will then also get exclusive insights into the world of fitness. A total of around 150,000 trade and private visitors come to Cologne every year to experience the latest trends, most innovative products and stars of the industry up close.
The themed areas 2019
The major themes of FIBO 2019 are: Competition in the Studio, Digital Fitness and Medical Training as a growing sales market.
→ Competition in the studio
The new Competition trend has made it its goal to turn training in the studio into an experience. Boredom was yesterday! People can train alone or in small groups and compete against each other - under professional guidance. Strength and circuit training, functional training as well as spinning and group fitness are suitable for this. At FIBO 2019, find out which concepts can be used to implement this in the studio and what studio equipment is required for this.
→ Digital fitness
Virtual training offers are worthwhile for studios because they ensure greater motivation among members and longer customer retention. Instead of fixed course times, greater freedom is offered in the choice of courses. With the help of digital technology, competitions are also possible outside the studios. For example, customers can be given the opportunity to compete with other exercisers. In addition, contact with the member is maintained beyond the boundaries of the studio.
→ Medical training
There is growing interest among the general public in health-oriented training. This offers many opportunities for studios and physiotherapists. FIBO 2019 will therefore feature offerings on fitness courses such as yoga and meditation, anamnesis tools, and MPG-certified equipment. An important meeting point here is the Meetingpoint Physio in Hall 7.
