4 Ratings

Indoor Cycling has been growing in popularity since its birth in the 1980s because it is motivating, engaging and a lot of fun! It trains our general endurance and activates large parts of our musculature, which leads to a high energy consumption. And even in virtual form, bike training offers many benefits. After part 1 of our new CyberConcept-series, the CyberCrossingyou will learn today in the second part everything worth knowing about CyberCycling!

CyberCycling: The virtual bike training

CyberCycling is a virtual and film-animated indoor bike training with an instructor who prescribes cadence and technique - the whole thing is, as with all CyberConcept classes, accompanied by motivating music.

CyberCycling scores with varied routes: action-packed sprints alternate with uphill and downhill rides as well as calmer relaxation phases. Each participant can set on his bike how steep the hills, how high the load or how slow the rest phases are. This makes it possible for beginners and advanced cyclists to ride together in a group.

CyberCycling

With training on the bike, you can achieve a wide variety of training goals and benefit from numerous advantages:

→ high training efficiency

→ rapid build-up of fitness

→ body shaping

→ high fat and calorie burn

→ healthy cardiovascular training

→ rousing group fitness

→ flowing motion sequences that are easy on the joints.

How does a CyberCycling class work?

At the beginning of each class, two short setup films are shown, primarily for beginners. These explain how to adjust the bike to suit your own body size, what safety aspects need to be considered and how to control the load levels. This is intended to make it easier for beginners to make the correct adjustments to the bike and to familiarize themselves with riding techniques and grip variations.

The actual cycle training then starts, lasting either 30, 45, 60 or 90 minutes. The training is accompanied by an instructor via an oversized flat screen or a large screen, who guides the participants through the entire course from warm-up to stretching - and motivates them in the process! At the beginning, the instructor explains the course and the main points of the workout, before the participants cycle up to high levels of exertion to the accompaniment of rousing music blaring from the speakers and designed to motivate them. CyberCycling is a holistic training in which warm-up and cool-down are not neglected.
