Twelve machines in 17.5 minutes - these are the machines you'll meet in the strength-endurance circuit

4 Ratings

We have already written a lot about the strength-endurance circuit and its advantages and have repeatedly mentioned some points that are also important to the manufacturer Milon . First and foremost are the muscle work for the whole body and the variety in the workout. This is achieved by six cardio machines and six strength machines, which together round off the strength-endurance circuit. Here we'll explain to you which machines they are and what exactly you do with them.

The six cardio machines - three times two

The six cardio machines are actually only three versions each of the cross trainer and bicycle ergometer. You already know these from the warm-up in the gym and the Milon machines work in the same way. The ergometer trains your legs in a way that is easy on the joints . The cross trainer also involves the arms and lower back more in the workout, as the movement is initiated by the whole body. This way you are perfectly warmed up and prepared for the further challenges of the circuit. Also here your joints are locked, which makes the workout very gentle on knees and ankles .

Milon Circuit: Experiences

Six times power - power from the top of your head to the bottom of your feet

The strength-endurance circuit includes two machines for the legs at once. Leg Curl and Leg Extension address the respective opponents in your thighs . With the Leg Curl you bend your legs over the gluteus muscle, with the extensions you stretch your legs over the quadriceps. Both machines train the anterior and posterior muscles of the thighs. The next two opponents are found in your upper body, these are the abdominal muscles and the muscles of the lower back. In the Abdominal Crunch you contract your body from your abs, in the Back Extension you extend your back and use the strength of your lower back. Both muscle groups are essential to counteract bad posture and back pain . You train your arms on the Chest Press and the Seated Row. The Chest Press activates the chest, triceps and shoulders, while the Seated Row activates the biceps and trapezius. Again, each works the opposing muscles, which relaxes them during the workout. So you can already see from the equipment which concept the strength-endurance circuit follows.

A better concept, a more efficient workout

The strength-endurance circuit is a comprehensive offer for efficient whole-body training. If you follow the recommended workout schedule (two circuits of 17.5 minutes each), you'll only need a little more than half an hour for your workout. And that it works like this is due to the composition of the twelve machines in the strength-endurance circuit.
