TOGU Day at the start of FIBO 2016

TOGU TagFrom April 7 to 10, the leading international trade fair for fitness, wellness and health, FIBO in Cologne. The specialist for air-filled training and therapy equipment from Prien am Chiemsee invites you to an industry get-together in the Congress Center at the Cologne Exhibition Centre the day before the trade fair opens on 6 April 2016. The International TOGU Day has established itself as a popular training and networking event. Here, TOGU presents presents a varied theoretical and practical program on the topic of "Fascia in the focus of fitness and therapy" to experts from the industry and its partners .

"The TOGU Day is a particularly promising start to FIBO. The combination of theoretical lectures and practical workshops makes the products tangible and their field of application understandable," says Dr. Robert Schleip, Director of the Fascia Research Group, University of Ulm. He himself will be giving a lecture on the topic of "Targeted training of the fascia: What does current research say?": "The fact that most of today's overuse injuries in sport affect the collagen fiber system has triggered targeted research into the optimal trainability of muscular connective tissue in recent years." The interactive lecture will provide an update on the current state of research and will differentiate between evidence-based facts and plausible speculation. "I am looking forward to an exciting and varied TOGU Day," says Schleip.

Exciting presentations highlight the current state of science

The TOGU Day will not only focus on practical applications. Between the individual workshops, various speakers will give exciting presentations on current topics. This year's guests are Dr. Robert Schleip (Director of the Fascia Research Group, University of Ulm), Gabi Fastner (trainer and consultant for fitness and gymnastics) and Christoph Stumpf (physiotherapist and owner of the Baltic-Physio practice). The presentations will analyze the current state of science in the field of fascia research and the conclusions that can be drawn from this for training and therapy .
