The top fitness trends 2015

4 Ratings

Spring is here, the sports season has begun and FIBO 2015 revealed some new trends in April. Here are the top fitness trends of the year that optimally combine fun and sport:

PunkRope

Even if it sounds like simple rope skipping at first, punk rope training, which originated in New York, is not only fun, but also burns up to 600 calories per hour. The fitness program alternates between rope skipping, fitness games, core training units and calisthenics, thus training the entire body.

Hot Barre

Hot barre training is another fitness trend from the USA that comes to Europe and uses elements of classic ballet training. But the exercises take place at hot 40 degrees, which on the one hand should have a detoxifying effect on the body and on the other hand make the muscles more elastic. However, barre training without this additional heat effect is also offered and there are already a variety of exciting barre exercises for it.

Rope Training

Functional Training

Functional Training has already been on the rise in Europe for several years, but has experienced a strong growth in the last year. Functional Training especially involves exercises that challenge movements that are often neglected in everyday life. The training addresses many different muscle groups at the same time and sustainably improves balance, coordination, strength and stamina.

Personal training in a group

Personal training such as with EMS training was already one of the top trends last year. For 2015, this trend continues and small groups that share an expert are the focus. This way, each participant can enjoy the benefits of an individual consultation and the exercisers have additional fun and incentive by training in a group.
