-or access to the "3rd health market"
The merging of the 1st and 2nd health markets is described by Thomas Röhrle, the inventor of the fitness guide, as
"Third health market".
In this market owners of Fitness & health studios, which concern themselves mentally already with the health market, can position themselves just like Physiotherapeuten, which would like to be more independent of prescription conversions. The THERA BIZ congress presents exciting lectures, in order to be able to argue better with the entrance into this market.
The new business magazine THERA-BIZ, which is aimed at therapists and operators of health studios, is organizing the 1st THERA-BIZ Congress as part of FIBO on Friday, 10.04.2015 in cooperation with FIBO. You can expect an exciting lecture program, which will be designed by renowned experts from the therapy sector.
1st & 2nd health market
The difference between the 1st and 2nd health market is that the services of the 1st health market are mostly paid by the health insurance companies (although not always totally), and the services of the 2nd health market have to be paid by the beneficiary himself.
Another major differentiating feature is that most of the services in the 1st health care market must be provided by physicians and physiotherapists, i.e. members of medical professions. On the other hand, these medical professionals are also allowed to operate in the other, i.e. 2nd healthcare market. For example, there are physicians or physiotherapists who operate their own fitness and rehabilitation studios, but also fitness studio operators who employ physicians or physiotherapists in order to open rehabilitation clinics or physiotherapy practices with them as silent partners.
High End Medical Solution
One of the most interesting models for this kind of the work in the 1. health market brought now the above-mentioned Fitness driver's license inventor Thomas Roehrle with HEMS (High End Medical Solution) on the market.

The speakers & their topics
Marco Zellmann, Sales Area Manager at opta data Abrechnungs GmbH, will talk about the opportunities in the second health market. The opta data group serves more than 22,000 customers, making it one of the preferred and market-leading service providers for healthcare providers today.
Thomas Röhrle, shareholder of Bodywave GmbH, will discuss equipment-supported back training. The back is always an issue in our sedentary, rather sedentary professional world. This is where opportunities open up for the physical therapist, in cooperation with the physician. His lecture is entitled: "Prescriptions that don't burden doctors' budgets! Additional prescription turnover with equipment-supported back training!"
Professor Dr. Theodor Stemper, sports scientist at the Bergische Universität Wuppertal, Fitness & Health Department, will shed light on the legal aspects in the prevention sector. He will explain what has to be taken into account when settling accounts with health insurance companies in accordance with § 20 SGB V (German Social Code). The title of his lecture is: "Turnover with prevention courses - legal bases of the § 20 SGB V for the account with the health insurance companies!"
In 1986, certified sports teacher and physiotherapist Dieter Welsink opened his first physiotherapy practice. Today he is the managing partner of medicoreha Welsink Rehabilitation GmbH in Neuss. He also runs the medicoreha Welsink Academy. Dieter Welsink uses the example of his company to explain how to position oneself well as a therapist or as the operator of a health studio with appropriately trained personnel and how to grow sustainably.
