The topic of digitalization is omnipresent and does not stop at the wellness industry. But what does this mean in concrete terms? What impact do technical innovations have and in which areas of a spa facility are they actually used? And how can digitalization be used for sales? The new study booklet "Digitalization & Sales" as part of the in-service training course "Wellness and Spa Management" now addresses these current topics.
But sales and dealing with digitalization are not the only challenges facing spa managers. Management tasks, knowledge of key business figures, market observation and internal process design are all part of day-to-day business. Spa managers also have a duty to successfully market their company, manage it profitably and counteract the acute shortage of skilled workers.
The IST-Studieninstitut brings all of these topics together in the "Wellness and Spa Management" course. Here, aspects of corporate management and personnel management, the profitability and cost structure of a wellness facility and the specific conception of wellness offers are dealt with in detail.
In just 14 months, participants acquire comprehensive commercial knowledge to enable them to take on management tasks professionally. Graduates have good job prospects on the market thanks to state recognition in accordance with Section 118 (1) of the Education Act and recognition in the industry. The course starts in April.
