The new yoga method is now being offered at ELEMENTS Siemensallee
The course program at ELEMENTS Fitness and Wellness has been enriched with an unusual offering. The ELEMENTS Siemensallee studio in Munich is now teaching "Free Floating Aerial Yoga", a modern form of suspension or aerial yoga. Thanks to specially developed elastic cloths (known as hammocks), you literally float through the selected asanas. The hammocks are attached to ropes and allow even challenging postures to be held for longer. "With Free Floating Aerial Yoga, all forms of inverted postures are possible without exerting force and therefore without putting pressure on the head, neck and spine," says Yara Pastrelli Kamada, Head of Group Fitness at ELEMENTS Fitness and Wellness studios.
"This special form of yoga reverses gravity and allows yogis to float through space with a feeling of boundless freedom," enthuses Claudia Lederer, the founder and developer of Free Floating Aerial Yoga. Despite the intensive movements, this unique yoga method is easy on the joints, strengthens the cardiovascular system, stimulates the lymphatic system and is beneficial for the tissue thanks to its massage effect. It also keeps the spine flexible and supple.
The course is offered every Monday (18:30) and Wednesday (11:15) at ELEMENTS Fitness und Wellness in Siemensallee.
