The Association for Women in Fitness and Wellness (WIFA) and its partners are launching the #womenhelpingwomenww campaign on International Women's Day 2022 to promote women in the fitness industry. Employee:s from companies in the industry can receive a free six-month WIFA membership.
The Women in Fitness Association is the only network that brings women in the fitness industry together to share and support each other. Together, they aim to create and sustain change in a diverse industry.
For International Women's Day 2022, the association is offering a special opportunity for companies in the industry to make a free six-month WIFA membership available to their female employees and anyone else who feels WIFA is a good fit. The number of free memberships is unlimited.
In addition, each:r receives the opportunity to participate in the gender diversity survey.
Focus on gender equality
There are many global studies and statistics about women in the workforce. Unfortunately, there is hardly any specific data on this in the fitness industry.
WIFA has therefore teamed up with SportAlliance to create a current gender diversity survey to get a global perspective on gender equality in the fitness industry.
The goal is to identify and analyze previously unrecognized problems and then develop recommendations for action to strengthen the global fitness industry's image.
The results will be presented on April 6, 2022, in Cologne, Germany, at the European Health and Fitness Forum.
"This is our largest campaign to date and it is made possible by the commitment of our partner:ing partners around the world. We will use it to reach hundreds of thousands of women in the fitness industry. Women helping women - that's WIFA's motto. Our mission and actions stand behind those words every day, and we reaffirm them as we celebrate International Women's Day," says Lindsey Rainwater, founder and CEO of WIFA.
WIFA has teamed up with partner:innn from around the world for the #womenhelpingwomenww campaign to mark International Women's Day on March 8, 2022.
