"Emma Day" at Bodystreet: Innovative concept for more exchange

Bodystreet Emma DayEmployees from the franchise headquarters work in the franchise partners' studios

What makes a team? For Bodystreet, the answer is clear: close contact, regular exchanges and open cooperation. That's why Bodystreet launched a special project, "Emma Day".

On July 1, all 22 employees at the Munich franchise headquarters left their desks and spent the day in local studios. They took part in EMS training (electro-muscle stimulation) and customer care and exchanged ideas with the franchise partners. The distribution of the employees to the more than 190 studios was decided by drawing lots. Company founder and Managing Director Emma Lehner received nothing but positive feedback. Nico Fortenbacher, owner of Bodystreet Böblingen, is delighted: "This allows all employees at head office to see how Bodystreet's day-to-day operations work. It was also very interesting for our members." Even company founder and Managing Director Matthias Lehner took part in "Emma Day". "A valuable experience," he emphasizes afterwards.

About Bodystreet
In 2007, Emma and Matthias Lehner founded the Bodystreet fitness studio brand in Munich. After intensive concept work and a two-year pilot phase, they presented their franchise model in July 2009. With over 190 special interest studios in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, Bodystreet is one of the most innovative systems in the industry.

The success factors are: EMS training, micro-fitness studio and franchising. Bodystreet has already paved the way to sustainable independence for over 120 franchise partners. The company is also training 142 trainees to become sports and fitness specialists and 204 scholarship holders on dual study programs in health, fitness or sports economics. Franchise partners and employees have the opportunity to attend further training seminars at the company's own Bodystreet Academy. The fitness studio brand therefore not only sets standards in terms of training, but also offers prospects for the future. Bodystreet was also nominated as the best young system in 2014 by the German Franchise Association.
