At 190,000 PSI, this powerlifting bar from the ATX® Rocket Series is very heavy-duty. With a low suspension, this barbell is predestined for heavy powerlifting and strength training. The handle bar has a 1.5 knurling and is coated in black chrome, which ensures a secure and comfortable grip. The Bright Zinc coating on the mounts is highly abrasion-resistant. The bronze bearing of the long-sleeve mounts is robust and ensures smooth running.

Coating - mountings:

Bright Zinc specialist electroplated zinc - offers good protection against corrosion and abrasion. The coating has a metallic bluish-white color reflection and is matt to slightly shiny.

Coating - handle bar:

Black oxide is not a coating in the true sense of the word, as no coating film is applied to the metal. The black color of the metal is created by a chemical process in which the surface of the steel turns black through chemical oxidation.

The dull black "coating" creates a direct steel haptic, but only has a slight wear protection, so signs of abrasion are visible after a relatively short period of use. Black oxide is sensitive to rust, moisture and magnesia. However, the surface can be refreshed quickly and easily like no other, creating a natural patina after some time and the barbell bar still looks great even after years of intensive use.
