The second Neuro Innovation Day on June 16 and 17, 2023, will focus on the diverse applications of neurocentric exercises in elite sports, training and therapy. For this purpose, the Artzt Institute has enlisted the support of renowned speakers from the fields of science, medicine and sports.
Following the successful premiere in 2022, the second Neuro Innovation Day will once again provide a meeting place for newcomers and professionals to learn about current developments in the field of neuro-centered training.
"Our inaugural event showed that there is a huge demand from different areas of the healthcare industry, but that targeted, interdisciplinary offerings are lacking. With the Neuro Day, we want to close this gap in the future"
says Astrid Buscher, head of the Artzt Institute and organizer of the event.
In order to provide sufficient space for different topics and intensive networking, this year the congress will take place on two days, Friday, June 16 and Saturday, June 17, 2023.
Theory, practice and innovation area
The program presented at the venue in the Hennef Sports School is therefore also diverse. Exciting impulse lectures by sports physician Dr. Dr. Homayun Ghararvi on the athletics of respiratory function and neuroscientist Dr. Julia Christensen, who will address the question of what the brain does when dancing, will kick off the event on Friday.
For hands-on learning of neuro-centric opportunities, 90- to 100-minute workshops are scheduled for guests on both days. For example, Niko Romm, neuroathletics trainer at 1. FC Köln, will share valuable practical knowledge from his work with professional soccer players, Z-Health coach Luise Walther will show low-threshold, everyday training impulses, and Andreas Könings, head of the German Academy for Neuro-Performance, will provide deep insights into the topic of breathing and optimal energy production. Depending on their level of knowledge, participants can choose between basic courses (Basics) and advanced units (Deep Insights).
During the breaks, the Innovation Area offers the opportunity to get advice on products and further education in the field of neuroathletic training and to test neuro tools and the new neuro app extensively.
Interdisciplinary exchange
In its second edition, the Neuro Innovation Day places particular emphasis on multiprofessional and interdisciplinary interaction.
"We have deliberately opened the congress to speakers and participants from therapy, medicine and science," says Buscher. "Neuroathletics training is the future of training. It offers a wealth of new ways to reduce stress and injuries and improve precision, concentration and health, but currently there is still far too little exchange among the disciplines. That makes it all the more important to come together and start joint projects."
Registration for Neuro Innovation Day is now open.
