On Friday, August 24, 2018, the IST University allows a look behind the campus scenes. From 16:30 - 20:00, exciting lectures will present the various study programs in the field of "Fitness & Health": the Bachelor's programs "Fitness & Health Management", "Fitness Science & Fitness Economics" and "Management in Healthcare" as well as the Master's program "Prevention, Sports Therapy & Health Management".
"Anyone who does not yet know what they would like to study is cordially invited to come to our 'Open Day' to be inspired," promises Dr. Katrin Gessner-Ulrich, President of the IST University of Management in Düsseldorf. "Our bachelor's and master's degree programs open up exciting career paths for our graduates in industries where well-trained employees are urgently needed. Like in the fitness and health industries. Here, for example, in the dual Bachelor's program, we work with renowned partners who offer their dual students first-class training and at the same time attractive long-term prospects."
However, studying at IST University offers other advantages besides the prospect of being qualified for a job in growth industries: All degree programs can be completed either full- or part-time or as a dual variant. All three variants are characterized by extremely flexible knowledge transfer thanks to modern teaching methods. Supported online, the study program allows students to organize their time as individually as possible, so they can decide for themselves when and where they learn.
"A dual study program is particularly interesting for those who want to gain as much practical experience as possible parallel to their studies and earn money at the same time," explains Gessner-Ulrich. "Working people simply study with us while working. The 8-semester part-time variant is ideal for this."
A visit to the "Open Day" is also worthwhile for those who do not have a high school diploma or have not yet been able to get another place to study. Because at the IST University there is no numerus clausus (NC) and studying is also possible without an Abitur. The university team will be on hand to explain how this works.
Those who would like to learn more about the courses of study, the prerequisites and the forms of placement and get to know the IST University team can do so at the "Open Day", Friday, August 24, 2018, on the campus of the IST University in Düsseldorf.
A non-binding registration option as well as all program details are available at www.ist-hochschule.de.
