The first Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) SKILLCOURT was successfully installed in Las Vegas. This development marks a significant milestone for the company and the basketball performance industry as a whole.
The SKILLCOURT is no stranger to the WNBA, but its integration as part of the current Women's NBA champions, the Las Vegas Aces, has reached a new dimension. Marcel Grünewald, CEO of SKILLCOURT, was there in person to oversee the installation of the SKILLCOURT.
He instructed the Aces' coaching staff, led by Jeremiah Welch, on how to use the innovative system. Since opening just two weeks ago, the site has already made an impressive impact and is unique in the Women's NBA.
Training cognitive and motor skills
The SKILLCOURT adds components such as brain training, visual response, quickness of action and inhibition to the Las Vegas Aces' performance area. It also offers 'return-to-sport' physio and diagnostic modules to test and train players' visual, cognitive and motor skills.
SKILLCOURT's long-standing partnership with renowned basketball teams such as the Würzburg Baskets and Ratiopharm Ulm has already yielded good results. The collaboration with the Las Vegas Aces represents another opportunity to make the specialized expertise of the professionals available to gyms and physio practices.
Through this collaboration, clients around the world will benefit from the latest knowledge and advanced training methods used by top athletes.
The SKILLCOURT team is proud to be part of this exciting project and is already looking forward to more visits to the 'city that never sleeps'.
