EGYM and the Swiss healthcare software company Compis have extended the partnership they sealed last year. This will involve integrating EGYM training data into the Cenplex practice management software developed by Compis and already rolled out in the Swiss market.
Doctors and physiotherapists thus receive important data and treatment reports at the push of a button. Thanks to the corresponding interface, the patient training and condition data provided by EGYM is automatically recorded and processed in the Cenplex software.
The physical therapists create their reports and send them to physicians or payers at the push of a button. The results: noticeable time savings and easier follow-up prescriptions for medical training therapy (MTT).
In addition, says Compis CEO Andreas Reinke, physical therapists increase their reputation with physicians thanks to the high quality of the data-driven treatment reports.

"Conversely, this leads to more new patients that the doctor refers to the physio. This is because the clear and meaningful reports provide convincing arguments and conclusive treatment recommendations for long-term retention in exercise therapy."

EGYM and Compis each have a large number of customers, he said, for whom the partnership mutually opens up new potential and who benefit in the long term from the continuous technical innovations in particular.
"Physiotherapy works, and muscle training makes you healthy! We provide the digital tools to impressively prove that."

Doctors and patients also benefit from the higher quality of training data and can better track results. Patients who convince themselves that the training or treatment is leading to measurable and noticeable progress are in turn motivated to stick with it for the long haul, he said.
"Our partnership with Compis in Switzerland fits perfectly into our 'Smart Therapy' approach, a process-driven system and growth concept for physical therapy. We provide therapists with the latest digital tools for best data and treatment quality as well as time and efficiency gains. Patients in particular benefit from this on their way to freedom from pain or symptoms. And with satisfied patients, physical therapy overcomes the current limitations of the primary healthcare market."
