With 190,000 PSI, this powerlifting bar from the ATX® Rocket Series can withstand loads of up to 680 kg. The high rigidity has a low whip and is therefore ideal for heavy squats and heavy deadlifts. The coarse knurling 1.5 is super grippy. The Black Oxide coating on the handle bar has a metallic feel and therefore conveys direct contact with pure steel. The Bright Zinc coating on the mounts is highly abrasion-resistant. The bronze bearing of the long-sleeve mounts is robust and impact-resistant.

• Coating - mountings:
• Bright Zinc - professionally electroplated zinc - offers good protection against corrosion and abrasion. The coating has a metallic bluish-white color reflection and is matt to slightly shiny.
• Coating - handle bar:
• Black oxide is not a coating in the true sense of the word, as no coating film is applied to the metal. The black color of the metal is created by a chemical process in which the surface of the steel turns black through chemical oxidation.
• The dull black "coating" creates a direct steel haptic, but only has a slight wear protection, so signs of abrasion are visible after a relatively short period of use. Black oxide is sensitive to rust, moisture and magnesia. However, the surface can be refreshed quickly and easily like no other, creating a natural patina after some time and the barbell bar still looks great even after years of intensive use.
